Troubleshooting

Having problems with your door?

Watch the videos for the most common problems. Still stuck? Call us at (302) 279-2886.

01

Check your keypad battery

  1. Slide or pop off the keypad cover and remove the battery.
  2. Put in a fresh battery of the same type, facing the right way.
  3. Enter your code and press Enter to test the door.
02

Check remote control battery

  1. Press a button and look for the light. No light usually means a dead battery.
  2. Open the case with a small screwdriver and swap the battery.
  3. Stand inside the garage and test the remote again.
03

Check door sensors

  1. Find the two safety sensors near the floor on each side of the door.
  2. Clear anything blocking the beam and wipe the lenses clean.
  3. Both lights should be steady. If one blinks, gently line it up with the other.
04

Check for manual mode

  1. Look for the red emergency release cord on the opener rail.
  2. If the door was released, it won't move with the opener.
  3. Run the opener once and the trolley reconnects so the door works again.
05

Check your springs

  1. A gap in a spring or a loose cable means a spring has broken.
  2. Stop using the door. Springs are under high tension and can cause injury.
  3. Don't try to fix it yourself. Call us and we'll replace it safely.
